Brothers Abroad: Part II

We have a lot of Brothers that participate in study abroad programs and we wanted to highlight them here so you can read all about the fun adventures your Brothers are having and how they’re taking Phi Sigma Pi international! Below are three Brother’s stories. Stay tuned for more features in the future and if you have your own, send it to socialmedia@phisigmapi.org!

“Growing up there weren’t two more different siblings than us Miller sisters. Christine was never in trouble and into making sure she always looked her best while I found myself to be quite the rebel and was usually trying to find a way to get dirty no matter what I was doing later. The one thing that we always shared though was a sense of adventure. As we grew older, that sense of adventure took us down very different paths, but both included studying abroad and becoming a Brother of Phi Sigma Pi.

As we continue to crisscross the globe trying to adventure to every corner of the world, our personalities can still be seen from when we were so much younger. Christine has kept her travels to the thriving areas of Europe. She spent two weeks in Paris as an undergraduate and now as a graduate student has been spending the semester in Strasbourg while taking trips to Nice, Rome, Dublin and London. On the other hand, I have found myself taking a two-week trip to Kenya and will hopefully be spending the upcoming semester studying at Griffith University in Australia.

We are on ever-changing paths and even though our differences are plenty Christine and I share so many special connections. It may have been different countries, continents, or Chapters, Alpha Mu and Zeta Delta, that made what we did different but it also made them special to us. They are they same, but still unique just as we are. Now you’ll just have to wait and see where we are headed next!”

“We met in Valparaíso, Chile during their Spanish language study abroad program and found out we were brothers!”
