The 2015 Alumni Convention will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC from June 11-14, 2015. We’re highlighting some of the reasons YOU should go! Register Here!
WonderWorks Myrtle Beach started out as a top secret research laboratory, on a remote island in the Bermuda Triangle for the world’s greatest scientists. As legend has it, the scientists (led by Professor Wonder), were given the task of creating a man-made tornado to harness it’s power. During this experiment something went horribly wrong and the power of the tornado was unleashed in the laboratory.
The energy created a swirling vortex that was strong enough to rip the building from its foundation and carry it thousands of miles away. It landed upside-down, on the top of a Crab Shack at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach.
Remarkably, all of the experiments remained intact and functional, and we get to go inside on Saturday, June 13th!
There are six different Wonderzones: natural disasters, physical challenge, light and sound, space discovery, imagination lab, and the far out art gallery.
