National Convention Preview: Serving the Washington D.C. Area

The 2015 National Convention will be held in Washington, D.C. from August 5 – 9. You can register today! On the Phi Sigma Pi blog we will be highlighting some of the reasons YOU should go.

Another National Convention means another successful service project. We’re aiming big this year! We’ll have not one but TWO service projects benefiting two great Washington D.C. organizations.

Attend the Welcome Session on Wednesday, August 5th. Network with Brothers from across the country while supporting Thrive DC, a local organization whose goal is to end homelessness by providing services to help individuals stabilize their lives. Brothers will assemble toiletry kits including various items clients need.

Want to offer more support? Send a donation to the National Office. Donations will be used to purchase toiletry items such as toothbrushes, soap and lotion for the toiletry kits. Contact National Staff at convention@phisigmapi.org for additional details.

Book Drive
Participate in the Book Drive
Books will be collected throughout National Convention and will be donated to a local elementary school to support students in reading outside of the classroom. Visit our Amazon Wishlist for a list of books we’re collecting. Help us reach our goal of collecting 400 books. That’s only 2-3 books per Chapter!

We look forward to seeing you at National Convention and can’t wait to leave our mark on Washington D.C.
