We will be revealing your Chapter Consultants throughout the month. If you’re going to National Convention, you can get to know them in person, but for those that have to wait for Chapter visits, we’re here to give you a few fun facts about your 2015-2016 Chapter Consultants.
Next up: Christiana Berardi (Gamma Psi Chapter ’13)
Christiana Berardi is returning as a Chapter Consultant! She’s as an Alumna of College of William & Mary. We asked her to reflect on this last year and tell us what she’s looking forward to most in 2015-2016.
1. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with Members and National Staff most at National Convention. It will be great to see Members that I worked with this past year and meet new Members that I will be working with this year!
2. The number one thing I learned last year that I can’t wait to apply this year.
The number one thing I learned last year that I can’t wait to apply this year is that every Chapter has their own unique style. One size does not fit all! During this past year, I tried to learn as much as possible about each individual Chapter, their structure, their strengths and their areas for improvement. In this coming year, I will continue to explore each Chapters’ uniqueness to best help them grow and develop!
3. Best new food you tried while traveling.
While traveling, I was able to try some of the most amazing food in the country (in my opinion, of course)! I shared cheese curds and homemade ice-cream with the Members of Zeta Rho Chapter, a Maryland crab pretzel with the Members of Gamma Pi Chapter and Cincinnati chili with the Members of Epsilon Rho Chapter! Yum!
4. How do you relax when you’re not out on the road?
I usually like to relax and catch up on all of the shows that I missed on my DVR! I also like to reconnect with family and friends and enjoy some home-cooked meals.
5. Your current favorite jam.
I absolutely love music and don’t usually pick favorites, because it is honestly impossible to select just one! During the summer, I love to get back into country music. For some reason, I don’t listen to country music much throughout the year, but as soon as that warmer weather comes along, I turn it up!
6. What is your favorite thing about being a Chapter Consultant?
There are so many things to love about being a Chapter Consultant! It is incredible to meet as many Members as I am able to, help Chapters grow and strengthen, see the country and most of all celebrate their successes with them. It is one of the most rewarding experiences I have had in my life, thus far.
