#psptbt is a blog series on the National blog. Every third Thursday of the month, we’ll dig into the archives from the last 99 years and share a piece of Phi Sigma Pi history.
C.H. McClure is one of our three Founders. Like the other two Founders, Hendricks and Phillips, McClure didn’t stop participating after the Founding of Phi Sigma Pi. He would continue to hold leadership positions for almost 20 years.
This picture is from the April 1935 edition of The Lampadion and was taken at the 1935 Grand Chapter meeting in Atlantic City, NJ. At this conference, McClure (second from the left on the bottom row) was elected National Counselor. If you take a look at the other names listed, you should see some that you’ll recognize.
This serves as another great reminder that Alumni Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. If you want to volunteer, please refer to the National website for a list of opportunities!
