Centennial Chapter Challenge Update!

CentennialChallengeThe Centennial Chapter Challenge is going strong! This year’s #GivingTuesday kicked the challenge into high gear as more than 40 Collegiate and Alumni Chapters jumped to participate. With eight months left to fundraise there is still time to get your Chapter in the running. Get started today!

Who’s donated?

All 16 Alumni Organizations have joined in the fun and donated to the Centennial Fund since August. By contributing to the Centennial Fund, they gave their Alumni group a boost AND renewed their NAA membership with one gift! The same is true for graduating seniors cashing in on their $15 membership! #GivingTuesday was the perfect opportunity for Collegiate and Alumni groups to get involved, raising over $8000 in just 24 hours.

Who’s in the lead?

Southern Appalachian Alumni Chapter came out of the gate strong at National Convention with a $500 pledge. The competition started heating up when Capital passed the $1000 mark, but Collegiate Chapter Alpha Rho took the lead to hit $2016 first!

BW_handsWtitleSmallHow are you fundraising?

Are you promoting the 2016 Parents Club? That is one of the easiest ways to fundraise on behalf of your Chapter! After you put the Parents Club t-shirt on your Holiday list, keep up the fundraising every chance you get. Some Collegiate Chapters are hosting bake sales, raffles and carnival games to raise their money this fall. Just make sure your event is safe and fun for everyone involved! If you’re drawing a blank and need more fun ideas, email Development Specialist Juliana Good at jgood@phisigmapi.org.

It’s not over yet!

There is still plenty of time to get involved in the Centennial Challenge and make your mark this year. Prizes are still available for the most money in the fall, spring, overall and for any group who has donated over $2016. The Chapter/Alumni Organization with the highest donation per member ratio won’t be determined until August, so every gift counts!

As the Semester/Quarter is coming to an end, one of our grand prize winners will soon be determined. Will it be YOUR Chapter? There’s still time before finals, so get out there and fundraise for our Next 100!

The Phi Sigma Pi Foundation was established to generate, preserve and provide financial resources for Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity’s educational, leadership and charitable programs.
