At the beginning of each month we will be featuring the Leadership in Action Module of the Month. Leadership in Action is a certification program for Members of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. Members participate in sessions called Modules to learn new skills they can use right away in their Chapters and in everyday life!
April is National Stress Awareness Month. What better way is there to kick stress to the side with some Leadership in Action Modules? This month we have two Modules as the ‘Module Of The Month’ and they have to do with identifying the stressors in your life and rising above stress!
If you are a student, exams and deadlines are almost here. Learn how to manage the stress BEFORE it takes over.
Managing Stress- Analyzing Your Stressors
The Analyzing Your Stressors Module focuses on identifying what adds stress to your life and what steps to take to stop stress before it happens. Successful completion of this course will increase your knowledge and ability to:
- Define the stressors in your life.
- Learn the three phases of fight or flight.
- Conquer burnout.
Managing Stress- Rising Above Stress
The Rising Above Stress Module focuses on the stress in your life and overcoming it before burnout. Successful completion of this course will increase your knowledge and ability to:
- Assess how your mood affects stress.
- Learn physical and mental ways to manage stress.
- Find balance in your life.
The best part about the two Modules above, is that they can go together! Request both of them, identify the stressors in your life and learn how to manage them all in one day!
