2016 National Convention Highlights: LiA National Modules

Can you believe it? Only 63 days until the 2016 Phi Sigma Pi National Convention. In our last National Convention Highlight, we talked about Leadership in Action and the great opportunity to become a Facilitator with Facilitator Training. Today we’re highlighting the TWO Leadership in Action National Modules that you will have the opportunity to attend in Kansas City.

Strategic Planning- The Perfect Pitch- It’s an important lesson to learn, how to come up with a 20 second sales pitch. No matter if you are trying to land a job and pitching yourself, or using the pitch to recruit more Members for your Chapter. This is a skill you will use now and for the rest of your life.

Building Trust-Building And Motivating A Dedicated Team- Retention. It’s a word that will follow you from now (in your Chapter) to the workforce. We will explore ways to respond to concerns and come up with strategies to keep people motivated.

Still not sure if you should attend the Modules? Let’s put it this way…

  • Earn 10 LiA points EACH for attending (That’s a possible 20 points towards certification… a ¼ of the way there!)
  • National Convention is the ONLY chance you will have to attend these specific Modules.
  • Gain valuable skills that you can use right away in your Chapter, college, personal and professional life.
  • Alumni, this is a great personal development opportunity and a great way to justify to your boss/company getting time off and possible funds for Convention!

Be sure to add the Modules to your itinerary during the registration process!

registerDeadline to Register is June 30th!

Pro Tip: Be sure to enroll in Leadership in Action if you have not already. This way you’ll be ready to earn those points at Convention! Leadership in Action is a free benefit that is exclusive to Phi Sigma Pi Members. Take advantage of it!!! If at any time you have any questions about Leadership in Action, don’t hesitate to contact our Director of Leadership Advancement, Danielle Reidenbach.
