As a Member of Phi Sigma Pi, we know that you are dedicated to your studies. On your list of priorities, academics is high up there. In fact, part of our Brothers’ Creed reads “As a Scholar, I accumulate a breadth of knowledge for the benefits of others.” That’s why Phi Sigma Pi offers not one, but TWO different scholarships! But you better act quick, the deadline to apply is in 1 month.

Richard Cecil Todd and Clauda Pennock Todd Tripod Scholarship

2016 Todd Tripod Scholarship Recipient, Luigi Nunez (Zeta Iota Chapter ’17)

In September 1991, Dr. and Mrs. Richard Todd established the Richard Cecil Todd and Clauda Pennock Todd Tripod Scholarship to promote the future academic opportunity of Phi Sigma Pi Members who have excelled in embodying the ideals of scholarship, leadership and fellowship. Over a period of twenty-five years, he served in the offices of National President, Vice President, Counselor, Historian and Alumni Representative. Dr. Todd passed away on July 18, 1993, but his memory and the innumerable contributions he made to Phi Sigma Pi will never be forgotten. All active Undergraduate Members of Phi Sigma Pi who meet the criteria outlined in the document titled The Richard Cecil Todd and Clauda Pennock Todd Tripod Scholarship of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity Charter and Award Criteria are eligible to apply for this yearly scholarship.



Rolla F. Wood Graduate Scholarship

2016 Wood Graduate Scholarship, Jillian Blueford (Gamma Chi Chapter ’13)

Established in 2004 as the graduate scholarship of Phi Sigma Pi, the award is given to an Alumnus/a who has excelled in undergraduate studies and has been accepted to or enrolled in graduate school in an effort to respect one of our founding principles, namely education, by encouraging the educational advancement of our Alumni through the offering of this scholarship. Professor Wood was dedicated to the betterment of education and his commitment to Phi Sigma Pi. He hailed from our Alpha Chapter, was a long time Phi Sigma Pi Faculty Advisor and past National President. To apply for the Rolla F. Wood Graduate Scholarship, the Alumnus/a must be in good standing with the collegiate Chapter and the National Office of Phi Sigma Pi. In addition, the applicant must be a Member of the National Alumni Association and have graduated with at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA on a 4.00 scale from the students bachelor’s program.
